Ok, so I have considered ditching my big heavy DSLR camera system for about a year now in order to switch over to one of the new mirrorless camera systems that keep getting better and better. Well, I FINALLY did it! I am not going to give too much away right now because I am in the middle of making a video about what camera I switched to and why. I promise I will release the video soon and update my “Eric’s Gear” page along with it.
I captured this one about 20 minutes before sunset at Kennesaw Mountain. My wife and I love hiking the mountain around sunset because there is an amazing view at the top. However, this particular sunset had very harsh lighting, so I didn’t see a photo opportunity that really spoke to me. I ended up taking this photo half way back down the mountain. I noticed that the very harsh lighting from sunset was illuminating the clouds from the side in a very cool way, so I took 6 different photos and stitched them together to make this panorama. I hope you like it!
