Jekyll Island & The Fisherman
One of the most incredible things about Jekyll Island is the beautiful scenery everywhere you look. I was in absolute awe over the serene land/seascapes, the amount of wildlife, and the crazy moss hanging from every tree!
I found the scene in this image while hiking on one of the island’s wildlife trails. I came across a cool little bridge, looked to my right, and I saw exactly what you see in the photo below. It’s not one of those “masterpiece” photos with insane colors and a double rainbow, but I think that is why I like it so much. It is beautifully simple. The waterway draws the viewer’s eye all the way through the photo, the sky is pleasantly blue, and if you look really close, you’ll see a fisherman way out near the water in the middle-right of the photo. While I was processing this one, I almost removed the fisherman from the scene, but I think he fits perfectly and adds a bit of character to the overall composition.
I hope you all enjoy this one!
